The Business end...

The Reds are through to the Champions League knockout rounds, but who do you want to play? We could face Inter Milan, Lyon, FC Copenhagen, AS Roma, AC Milan, Marseille.

"I'd like us to get Inter. It'd be great to beat the holder, and funny to knock Rafael Benitez out."

Talking Point: Who's next?

United are through to the Champions League knockout rounds and could be drawn against Inter Milan, Lyon, Copenhagen, Roma, AC Milan or Marseille… but who do you want to face?

We spoke to fans outside OT, a former player and a United pundit to get their views, which you can read below, and we want you to join in the discussion too. Post your views on Talking Reds.

“If you’re serious about winning the trophy like United are then you don’t fear anybody, particularly Inter Milan, who have gone backwards under Benitez. It would be nice to beat Bayern Munich later in the competition, but first we just want to get past the last 16, no matter who we play.”
Pete Boyle, Sale

“You have to beat the best to win the Champions League, so I don't think it matters who we face. I genuinely think we can win the competition.”
David Wood, Nuneaton

“I'd definitely have been worried about facing Barcelona or Real Madrid, but nobody else, we can beat anyone on our day. I’d like to play AC Milan again because of their history and stature in Europe. They’re going well in Serie A but I’m sure we’d beat them.”
Roy Ogiliey, Timperley

“It was crucial to finish top of Group C. FC Copenhagen have qualified as runners up to Barcelona, so ideally I’d like United to be drawn against them. They’re by no means a weak team but at the same time they don’t have the pedigree of Inter Milan or Roma, who we could also face. If we get a good draw I honestly believe we can go all the way. There are no easy games, but we shouldn’t fear anybody.”
The Legend: Frank Stapleton

“The longer United avoid Barcelona the better, and the same goes for Real Madrid. So it was vital to top the group. However, I get the feeling that United will draw Real somewhere down the line and come face-to-face with Ronaldo again. History tells us United are always strong in the second half of the season, and if they perform to their capabilities you’d think they’ll be a match for anyone.”
