On the radio: Port Vale supporter Robbie Williams held the number one album with Swing When You’re Winning and boasted the number one single with Something Stupid, a duet with Nicole Kidman, who is apparently a United fan!

At the flicks: Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring, featuring another celebrity Red in actor Dominic Monaghan, topped the box office chart.
