United fans can now bid for a unique portrait of Sir Alex Ferguson and help raise funds for charity in the process.

The special portrait has been created by Christopher Dent, Europe's Premier Digital Portrait Artist. It is the first and only one of its kind as it has been painted entirely with digital-oil paint.

The portrait has been personally signed by the Reds' boss and is now up for auction, funds from which will go to Leukaemia Research and the Lord Mayor of Bradford's Appeal 'Born in Bradford.' The auction is open until 30 June 2007.

Christopher is currently working on a number of commissions including a large exhibition of the cast of ITV1 show, Emmerdale. He is also awaiting confirmation from several Premiership footballers regarding portrait commissions to be undertaken in the near future.
