The fixtures are out, the new kit has been unveiled and everyone is looking forward to the 2007/08 campaign. But as Sir Alex prepares to launch the Reds' latest title defence, ManUtd.com looks back over the previous 14 Premier League seasons in a bid to find United's best Premier League XI.
Over the next six weeks, we'll be asking fans to vote for the players they believe have contributed most to the Reds' recent successes. It's important to remember we're looking only at the Premier League years. So, although Bryan Robson made 29 Premier League appearances and would ordinarily command a place in any United legends list, his biggest impact was made in the old First Division.
We'll conduct seven polls in our search to find the Reds' best Premier League XI, which we'll announce on the eve of the 2007/08 season. Fans will have the opportunity to cast votes based on each position… except one. We've already bestowed the left-midfield honour upon nine-time Premier League winner Ryan Giggs. And while the 33-year-old has occasionally drifted inside to spearhead the attack or help out in the centre of the park, we're sure you'll agree he's the only sensible choice on the left side of midfield.
But who will join Giggsy in United's all-time Premier League XI? Vote now at www.manutd.com/polls
