Tour Diary 6: Final furlong
ManUtd.com journalist Gemma Thompson is travelling with the team throughout their tour of Asia and will be bringing readers regular updates from inside the United camp...
The squad fly to Guangzhou on Wednesday evening ahead of the final tour game against Guangzhou Pharmaceutical FC on Friday.
So far things have gone well with the Reds firing twelve goals in their three pre-season games against Urawa Reds, FC Seoul and Shenzhen FC. Summer signing Nani gave United fans a glimpse of what he can do on Monday night as the Reds ran riot in Macau to claim The Venetian Cup.
The Portuguese debutant, who looked lively throughout his hour-long run-out during the Reds' 6-0 win over Shenzhen, struck United's third goal - a low drive into the corner - and followed it with his customary somersault celebration - much to the delight of the 16,000 fans inside
