Betting: Liverpool

United are 5/6 to maintain their winning sequence against Liverpool when Rafa Benitez's side come to town on Easter Sunday.

The visitors, without a league victory against United in four years, are 11/4 to pick up three points, while a draw is priced at 9/4.

Matches between the sides have been low-scoring affairs in the last few seasons. Each of the last seven meetings in all competitions have had two goals or fewer and it’s 8/13 for that to be the case again. It’s 6/5 for there to be three or more goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the only United player to have scored in the team’s last four matches. He is 2/1 to score more goals in the Liverpool game than the rest of the United squad combined. The squad is 5/4 to outscore Ronaldo in this market and it’s 2/1 for a tie.

Joint favourites for first goalscorer are Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney at 9/2. Carlos Tevez, who notched the only goal at Anfield in December, is 5/1 to score first and 28/1 to net the only goal of the game.

Last season the Reds won this fixture 2-0. Paul Scholes opened the scoring and is 10/1 to do so again, and 60/1 to do so in another 2-0 win.

Good luck, and come on you Reds!
