Talking Reds: Team talk

Fans have been discussing the team selection and tactics for Saturday’s game with West Brom on our message board...

‘Mike Gunn’ is wary of the problems posed by the fixture's timing:

"Let's hope the international break doesn't disrupt United's form and rhythm. I’d be happy with 2-0. Hopefully Albion are more attack minded in this match, rather than just sitting back. That would make the job much easier."

‘Asadmu’ predicts a tricky game for United, saying:

"We struggle a bit after international breaks, but we are playing West Brom. I predict a 2-0 win, with Rooney and Vidic grabbing the goals."

believes the boss may use the West Brom game to unveil the attacking threat of United’s big four:

"Clean sheet, 2-0 United, and we finally see Ronaldo-Tevez-Rooney-Berba."

'Man Utd simply the best' suggests a 4-4-2 formation, without Berbatov:

"My team vs West Brom; Van Der Sar, Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Fletcher, Anderson, Giggs, Tevez, Rooney."

‘John Cho’
foresees a commanding Reds’ victory:

“I want to be very optimistic and say 4-0, with Anderson opening his account. I’d love to see Ji-Sung Park in the line-up but after playing the full 90 in Seoul on Wednesday and a 13-hour flight back to Manchester, he deserves a rest."
