The Reds may already have signed Antonio Valencia and Michael Owen, but following a recent vote on ManUtd.com it seems fans would like to see two more attackers added to the squad.
We asked supporters to pick the player they'd most like to sign from the 14 selected out by our Talking Reds scouts who featured in last month's UEFA European U21 Championships in Sweden.
Fans voted in their thousands and the results provided interested reading.
Italian and Juventus playmaker Sebastian Giovinco came third with 11 per cent of the votes, while Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who kept four clean sheets in five games on the way to helping his country lift the trophy, finished second with 13 per cent.
There was a two-way tie at the top of the list with Sweden striker and Golden Boot winner Marcus Berg and Spain and Barcelona starlet Bojan Krkic each receiving 20 per cent of the overall vote.
Berg netted a hat-trick in his country's opening win over Belarus, before finishing as the tournament's top scorer, while Krkic, a Champions League winner with Barca in May, also looked lively in front of goal.
Our Talking Reds scouts certainly picked out some top talent, but it remains to be seen whether or not Sir Alex opts to follow their advice.
