Nick Coppack has travelled to Russia with the Reds ahead of United's Champions League Group B clash with CSKA Moscow on Wednesday night. All times are local (BST +3)...

So how was it for you? The match was hardly a classic, but still it yielded an excellent result for the Reds. Valencia's late winner rounded off another memorable trip to Moscow for yours truly. I'm cold and tired - but happy - and looking forward to landing in Manchester in a few hours' time. Goodnight, and thanks for reading my blog.

20:20 The teams will be out any minute now. They've just gone inside after the warm up. I could certainly do with one of those... it's freezing here in Moscow. Remember, I told you I'd bought a souvenir earlier? Well, it turns out it's a practical gift as well. 19:31 The traffic in Moscow is a nightmare. Even with a police escort it took an age to reach the ground. Now we're here and the talk in the press room is all about who Sir Alex might play this evening. Could we see both da Silva twins in action? Will Michael Owen start up front? 17:55 Time to leave the hotel now. I've really enjoyed my stay in Moscow so far – let's just hope we get three points tonight. We depart for the ground in about 15 minutes so I'd best get downstairs. The next you hear from me will probably be from the Luzhniki Stadium.
