How to approach Milan?

The Champions League resumes on Tuesday as the Reds travel to the San Siro for the first knockout round first leg and, let's be honest, we're due some revenge against il Diavolo.

The Rossoneri have, on four separate occasions, dumped United out of Europe's elite competition - 1958, 1969, 2005 and 2007. The word is Milan are a waning power, no longer the force they were under Carlo Ancelotti. But Brazilian boss Leonardo still presides over some wily campaigners who know what's required on this stage.

United want a result to work with for the return leg at Old Trafford in three weeks on 10 March, so we want to know how you would like the Reds to approach Tuesday's match. We want your responses to three key questions:

What would your team and formation be?
How would your team approach the game?
What result would you be happy with?

Post your views on the Talking Reds thread and we'll publish a selection of the best replies from Monday.
