23:50 I'm just sorting through post-match reaction. I grabbed a word with Edwin, Nani and Rafael after the match and all three were pleased with the display and delighted to see their new team-mate get off the mark. The next time you'll hear from me is when we land in Guadalajara on Thursday afternoon (Mexico time that is). It's been a great visit to Houston with the NASA trip and the victory tonight the stand-out memories. I hope you've enjoyed the blog and look forward to talking to you in Mexico. Bye for now!
23:11 Just back at the hotel after a much improved performance from the Reds and a great win. It was a highly entertaining game with some exquisite finishing. The night, of course, is all about a certain Mexican striker. I saw him after the game in the tunnel and he looked over the moon. Check out the interview MUTV grabbed with him at the final whistle.
