Sunday 25 July (Kansas City is six hours behind the UK)
23:45 Disappointing end to our stay in Kansas City with defeat to the Wizards. The home side did well and their attackers certainly gave our relatively inexperienced United defence a tough time, something the manager said played a part in the loss. But the young lads will learn from that. I'm heading to bed now as we have an early flight to Houston in the morning. I'll be back online when we arrive there on Monday afternoon CDT. Goodnight.
16:19 Right, I'm signing off from the blog for a while. I'll be writing the match report and getting some reaction from the players after the game so keep an eye out for that on the site later. Remember, you can watch the game live on MUTV and MUTV Online. Enjoy.
16:15 Ooh - just been told there will be a fly-by from the American airforce before kick-off. By the way, the stadium we're playing at isn't the KC Wizards' usual home, it's the home of Kansas City Chiefs American football team. 16:08 Paddy Crerand has given me the team via MUTV: Amos; Rafael, Smalling, J.Evans, De Laet; Nani, Scholes, Gibson, Giggs; Berbatov, Diouf. Subs: Van der Sar, Brown, Welbeck, Fabio, Obertan, Macheda, C.Evans, Cleverley. Interesting line-up, a lot of youngsters out there. Great chance for them to impress.
16:06 Just got set up in the press box... unfortunately behind glass again, but a fantasic view. Extremely high, but very central.
14:36 Right, I'm off to catch the bus to the
