Fans welcome fixtures

Scores to settle with Sunderland and Everton, derby dates and a make-or-break Christmas... just some of the talking points arising on our message boards following Monday's release of the 2012/13 Barclays Premier League fixtures.

Here's a selection of posts we've seen so far on Talking Reds. Feel free to add your own at manutd.com/messageboard and don't forget, you can download the fixtures to your desktop at manutd.com/wallpapers...

mark.k: The fixture list looks good for United, especially the run-in from the end of January onwards. The Reds will have the chance to play Chelsea and City at home during the last few weeks.

martinmj: I can't wait for 15 December and Sunderland at OT, after they cheered when City won the title. I can't wait till we put seven or eight in their net...

Manchester1989Utd: By the look of the fixtures, I think we have a tough few months at the start of this season. Goodison Park is never an easy place to come away from with three points. In September, we're away at Anfield and then we host Spurs. In October, we have Chelsea away. We are going to have to be on our toes from the off this season.

moestavern: Looks like we'll have a difficult but no doubt exciting run in again this coming season with the last seven games including City, Chelsea and Arsenal. At least we don't have a difficult Christmas period, on paper anyway.

thomas21: I think but for Everton we would be champions now. We threw that game away and with it went our crown. We must not make the same mistakes again.

DLK: Our first game of the season is not as tough as Everton's first game...

Moyesy: If we can get a good result against Everton (common slow starters), then there is a chance we can go to Anfield with four wins out of four.
