While some supporters have not seen too much of the Japanese midfielder, it’s clear those who have watched him in action for club and country rate him highly.

Some of the interviewees reckon Shinji is the kind of industrious, attacking midfielder United need and most believe he will be a good addition to the side.

Shinji Kagawa is set to become United’s first signing of the summer after agreeing to join the club from Borussia Dortmund.

The Japan international is likely to complete his move at the end of June if he passes a medical and obtains a work permit.

MUTV took their cameras out around Old Trafford after the news was announced to gauge fans’ reaction and opinions of the 23-year-old midfielder.
