Answers: All in the name

We came up with a head-scratcher of a poser this week to get you thinking.

In the week that Michael Owen and ex-Red Owen Hargreaves have been released, we've been scouring the archives for former players whose surname has also been a first name of a fellow Manchester United first-teamer.

To make life easier, we limited the answers to only include players who have played for the Reds since England won the World Cup in 1966.

We reckoned there are SIX of these since the late Sixties, not including Owen and Hargreaves.

Our answers are: Andy RITCHIE De Laet, Mick or Lee MARTIN Buchan, Kieran LEE Sharpe or Martin, Jimmy RYAN Giggs or Shawcross, Steve JAMES Chester and Michael STEWART Houston.

Others over the years, leaving out multiple options for the same name, include Mickey THOMAS McNulty, Billy DENNIS Viollett, Hugh KERR Whiteside, Jack SCOTT McGarvey, Gordon CLAYTON Blackmore, Roy JOHN Aston and Mark WILSON Greenwood. Look out for another poser next Thursday.
