The editorial team for , United Review and Inside United provide regular updates from the home of the Reds...

Friday 9 November

15:00 We can confirm that the home games against Newcastle on Boxing Day and West Bromwich Albion on Saturday 29 December will both kick-off at 15:00 GMT, as will the Wigan Athletic away game on New Year's Day. (GT)

14:45 I'm back from Carrington where I spoke with Javier Hernandez and Rio Ferdinand after covering the manager's press conference. Chicharito's thoughts on winning the October Player of the Month award are here and look out for quotes from Rio soon. (AM)

11:30 Did you know, United have won four games by a scoreline of 3-2 already this season? That's the 12th most common result in the Reds' history, having occurred 171 times. You can wow your mates with that stat this evening when you're in the pub... (NC)

09:45 Adam was covering Sir Alex's press conference - here are the main points:

"We hope Jonny Evans will be okay for Saturday. He is a doubt, not a serious one though. It's a lot to ask Chris Smalling to play Wednesday and Saturday. It's great he's back and he came through the [Braga] game well. We're monitoring the situation with Jonny - if he doesn't make it Chris will have to play.

"Nani is out with a tight hamstring and that will be around 10 days. But he should be okay as it's not torn, just tight.
