Today at Old Trafford

night. Me and Nick caught up with Tom Cleverley and Chris Smalling before they took part in a Q&A on stage to discuss what they most love about Manchester. We also spoke to a number of other personalities who were at the event including ex-Red Andy Ritchie, Bez from the Happy Mondays and Countdown's Rachel Riley who came up with the most brilliant anagram of 'Made of Manchester is here.' Drum roll, please... 'The fearsome red machines.' Look out for a video story on the event in the coming days on (GT)

11:22 You can now watch a clip from the press conference by clicking on the left, while the full version - pre-embargo anyway - is now available to view on MUTV Online. (AB)

11:13 Nigel Pearson is hoping that Michael Keane's loan stint at Leicester will not be ruined by his hamstring injury. "It depends on the severity of it," Pearson informed the Leicester Mercury.  "We are not going to put any pressure on that situation and we will look at it again when he is fit. I am disappointed for him but we will see how that progresses." (AM)

09:39 Here are the main points from Sir Alex's press conference:

Team news: "We still have some doubts about Wayne and Evans. Robin should be fit. We'll see what they're like today. Jones has been training all week and we will take him to Turkey with us. Chicharito should start tomorrow."

On conceding early goals: "After last Saturday's experience we don’t want to concede two goals. The fact we have players to change the course of the game has been a big advantage. Bringing Chicharito on was good for us.
