pundit Robbie Savage, who, like me, prefers to get inside the stadium nice and early. To give you a visual, I’ve taken a photo of our view. To see it, click on the 'Image Gallery' tab on the left. (MF)
11:45 By the way, today's pre-match soundtrack is comprised of local bands. As part of ManUtd.com's Made of Manchester week, fans voted for their best Greater Manchester songs and the top five will be aired before kick-off today. There are some belters in there. (GT)
11:30 Sir Alex said yesterday he's trying to work out how best to utilise his attacking options and fit the in-form Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Chicharito into the team. I don't think there's any doubt van Persie and Rooney will start today, but it'll be interesting to see if Chicharito or even Danny Welbeck are included. I personally think we'll see United go 4-4-2 with Antonio Valencia on the right and either Ashley Young (which would mean Rooney and van Persie up top) or Rooney (which would see van Persie and Chicha in attack) on the left. What do I know though?! Team news will follow in about 20 minutes or so. (GT)
10:43 Walking up to the stadium, it was impossible not to notice the wide range of Robin van Persie related merchandise being sold to fans. The Dutchman has been greatly received by Reds following his summer transfer from Arsenal, though I’m not sure today’s visiting supporters will be as forthcoming in their support. We’ll have to wait until kick-off to hear their true feelings on the matter. (MF)
10:42 Although you wouldn’t expect it to be sunny, the weather in Manchester is depressingly grim today as November takes hold of the North West.
