It was a shame that a few taunts and chants soured things after the game but what I will remember about the day is a card left by United fans on a floral tribute near the Hillsborough memorial. It described most United fans as a "silent majority" who shared the pain of the families of the 96. And that really is what matters most after a memorable afternoon.
