The editorial team for , United Review and Inside United provide regular updates from the home of the Reds...

Friday 15 February

The script is done and ready to go for Countdown to Kick-off on MUTV.  Ali Shaw returns to the show and will have Denis Irwin for company.  The game might not be until Monday but we’ve still got a packed show.  Sir Alex, Chicharito and Tom Cleverley all spoke to MUTV at Carrington this morning.  We also have Gary Neville taking us through the pros and cons of remaining in all three competitions. Gordon McQueen relives his United memories and Jonny Evans will be taking on Denis in the quiz.  Join us at 18.30 GMT. (Michael Grey)

16:00 It's worth pointing out that the FA Cup holds a special place in the affections of United fans around my age. My first taste of glory supporting the Reds came in 1983 and again two years later and I can still recall all three games (the Brighton one went to a replay) as though they were yesterday. I think the manager's celebration for Robin van Persie's equaliser at Upton Park tells you how seriously the club are taking the competition and I think it's a bit of a shame we have to wait until Monday night to try and book our place in the quarter-finals. 13:51 Obika has wrapped things up for Spurs in the 90th minute by completing his hat-trick on the break. 3-1 to the North Londoners. It's finished - we'll have a report up soon courtesy of Mike Shaw. (AM)
