You have reliable sources. It was one of the best years of my life. Honestly, it was incredible and was a dream come true.
And you went to the same school as Paul Scholes?
Once again, you’re very well informed. Aye, I went to the same school as Paul. They seem to be good at producing legends over at that school! He was one of my first heroes along with King Eric and Keano. It was really exciting watching Scholesy, Beckham, Nicky Butt and the Neville brothers coming through at that time.
Who’s going to be our most important player this campaign?
Undoubtedly, it has to be RvP. He’s literally been unstoppable in pretty much every game he’s played in. His goals have been from all areas and it looks like the rest of the team are complimenting him very well.
Which player is your unsung hero?
I’d say Chicharito. It must be hard for strikers when they aren’t first choice. You would expect confidence to wane, you get less game time etc and then when you are brought on, people expect miracles. I think he does exceptionally well whenever called upon.
Are we well-placed for title success?
I think we are in a far better position than last season and we only lost on goal difference, so yes. The title
