I remember, as a six-year-old, going to every game from the fourth round onwards when we won the cup in 1977.
"Since then we've had plenty of great FA Cup memories and many people still claim it was the FA Cup that saved Sir Alex's job in 1990. And just try telling the likes of Norman Whiteside, who never won the league but had success in the FA Cup, that the competition doesn't matter.
"On Saturday we want to recreate some of the atmospheres of old and pay respect to the role the FA Cup has played in Manchester United's history.
"Hopefully a lot of fans turn up with old bar scarves and join the march to the ground. Then, once inside, we want everybody to sing Wembley songs and create a classic cup atmosphere.
"If we beat Fulham we'll look to continue the theme in the next round, whether we're drawn home or away."
