Busby Babes tribute flag

Manchester United fans’ group Stretford End Flags hope to unveil one of the largest supporters’ flags ever seen in Britain when the Reds welcome Everton to Old Trafford on Saturday 10 February.

The “surfer” flag will measure approximately 30m high by 47m wide, feature an iconic image of the Busby Babes emblazoned with the words “We’ll Never Die” and will be situated in the lower tier of the Stretford End.

Former Red Gary Neville selected the design from a shortlist of six fan submissions, but production can’t begin until Stretford End Flags secure sufficient funding for the project.

If you’d like to make a donation towards the flag, which is likely to be used for a number of high-profile future United fixtures, you can do so by sending funds to via PayPal.
