Fans set for final test

The Manchester United Supporters Team hope to end the 2012/13 season on a high this Saturday as they take on Blackpool in the IFA North West Cup final.

After losing last term’s showpiece finale to Preston North End, the Reds are determined to go one better this time around after progressing through six rounds of the prestigious competition.
Incredibly, United reached the final via a dramatic 5-4 penalty shootout victory over Rochdale following an initial 2-2 draw, with goalkeeper Toby Lee impressively saving two penalties.

Saturday’s match kicks off at 14:00 BST at the Bellholme Sports Ground (OL14 6UH) and fans are invited to attend and cheer on the lads.

MUTV will also be there to film footage, which fans will be able to see on Monday in United Today bulletins and on The Paddy Crerand Show.
