Answers: United's oldest players

Ryan Giggs is set to play beyond his 40th birthday for United after agreeing another extension to his Old Trafford contract.

The Old Trafford legend is one of EIGHT players who have featured for the club at the age of 36 or older during the Barclays Premier League era.

Giggs may have some way to go to match his fellow Welshman Billy Meredith, who is the Reds' oldest-ever player having turned out in 1921 at the age of 46, but he is the second-eldest since the dawn of the new league in 1992.
