Video: OT at its loudest

With the dust settling on a disappointing night in the Champions League, one thread to the main topic of conversation has been the fabulous atmosphere inside Old Trafford.

Rio Ferdinand has described it as the noisiest crowd he has ever witnessed, which is some statement, and everybody present for Tuesday's tie with Real Madrid will agree that it was a special occasion to feel part of.

The result may have gone against the Reds, in controversial circumstances, but there has to be an over-riding sense of pride in defeat. Certainly, the sound at the start of the game, for the opening goal and when urged on by Sir Alex and Ryan Giggs at various points, was deafening.

Check out MUTV's video from before kick-off to relive some of the atmosphere - and here's hoping something similar can be generated for Sunday's FA Cup quarter-final with Chelsea.
