Live: Shakhtar vs United

79' That was a touch unlucky, now it's backs-to-the-wall time for the closing stages.

75' Goal! Shakhtar equalise through Taison.

Rakitskiy crossed after a one-two, Vidic stretched out a leg but the ball fell for the Brazilian, who slammed the ball high beyond De Gea to the keeper's right.

71' A good United break sees Rafael reach RVP in the area, the striker spins around to thread the ball through Rakitskiy's legs but the keeper makes a decent block.

69' Patrice Evra looks hurt after a boot to the thigh while challenging Hubschman, but the left-back gets up and gingerly returns to action.

66' Substitution: Fellaini is off, and Ryan Giggs comes on for his 145th appearance in this competition, a new Champions League record. He goes past Raul's previous high-water mark.

64' Srna drills the ball into the United wall and the danger passes.

63' Yellow card: Vidic into the book, the skipper fouled Douglas Costa 20 yards out, and Shakhtar have a free kick.

61' Yellow card: Fellaini is booked for a foul on Taison, although Valencia was involved and fellaini may be unlucky.

54' Vidic gets in the way as Shevchuk crosses again, expertly stopping Luiz Adriano from getting a shot from near the penalty spot.

51' Shevchuk gets past Rafael, then fires in a low ball from wide but De Gea dives in to snuff the danger out, and gets a kick as Fernando slides in.

49' Yaroslav Rskitdky tries a free kick from all of 30 yards out, but the defender's left-footed effort is watched all the way and a long way wide of the posts by De Gea.
