80' Today's attendance is 75,220.

79' Januzaj has gone to the right wing, Welbeck to the left, with Giggs in the middle. And it's Welbeck who rises highest to clear a Saints corner, before haring down the left on a break. Rooney is screaming for it in the centre but Welbeck's attempted pass is cut out. That was a good chance.

76' Fellaini, who has struggled to make an impact on the game, is replaced by Danny Welbeck. Moments later, Rooney breaks down the left but his cross evades everybody and is cleared at the far post.

75' Rooney and Jose Fonte contest a full-blooded tackle that I'm amazed didn't burst the ball. There could have been tears then. Instead, both players get up and the game continues. Refreshing.

72' Saints are still pressing forward and a scary-looking cross from the right is thumped clear. Soon after, De Gea dives low to stop Lallana's drive.

70' Clyne gets a stern talking-to, but nothing more, after going through the back of Januzaj. For me, that was worse than some of the tackles that have earned cautions so far.

68' Moyes makes his first change of the game, bringing on Ryan Giggs in place of Nani. I expect that's just tactical as Nani has had a good game.

66' Fellaini trips Wanyama, who's hobbled to the touchline, and Saints have a free-kick midway inside our half. I just hope United's failure to add a second in that last period of play doesn't come back to haunt us.

63' From the resultant corner, van Persie's header hits the bar and, after a goalmouth scramble, Nani has a shot blocked on the line. Just a few seconds later, Boruc tips a vicious Januzaj drive wide. It's all happening!

62' Another half-opening for United as Januzaj plays in Evra down the left and the Frenchman's cut-back is just reached by a Saints defender ahead of a lurking Rooney.
