96' Full time: Sunderland 1 United 2. Adnan Januzaj is the hero with two exquisitely-taken goals in the second half after Craig Gardner's early strike. It was hard work but the Reds go into the international break with three very welcome points.

95' Westwood stayed up front and United cleared but Cleverley did not have the legs to profit with the goal unguarded.

94' Westwood comes up for a corner and there's a huge handball shout against Rooney before another flag-kick is awarded.

93' Rooney and Valencia make a clearance together from a free-kick. The Black Cats are still chasing an equaliser but De Gea has the ball safely in his grasp.

90' We're entering five minutes of stoppage time. Not sure where the officials have got that long from.

88' Valencia finds van Persie in space and the Dutch striker is onside. However, he prods his finish wide of goal which could yet prove costly.

85' Rafael is next to hoof the ball clear in the nick of time. Chris Smalling now replaces the Brazilian.

84' Vidic makes a vital clearance as Sunderland threaten through Larsson's centre. Still work to be done for David Moyes' team.

82' Rafael has an ambitious attempt from long range that is fielded by Westwood. United are looking to make the points safe because there's still time for Sunderland to hit back.

81' O'Shea is the latest player to be cautioned after barging into Welbeck to prevent the substitute from running through towards goal.
