The legends of Manchester United and Real Madrid arrived at Old Trafford on Sunday to contest the Red Heart United match, a unique charity event in aid of the MU Foundation.

With the sun shining on M16, fans were treated to a fantastic day out and saw chart-topping artists Amelia Lily, Tinchy Stryder and JLS perform on the hallowed turf prior to kick-off.

Countless luminaries of the game including Paul Scholes, Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane then took to the pitch to entertain the thousands of supporters inside The Theatre of Dreams.

The match ended in a 2-1 win for the visitors, who also won the tie 5-3 on aggregate following last summer's first leg at the Bernabeu. However, the big winner was clearly the Foundation.
