Denis Irwin and Gordon McQueen are the latest former Reds to join the DHL Champ19ns Trophy Tour, which will be in Tokyo from March 23-25.
There are more than six million dedicated United fans in Japan and this is a unique opportunity for them to engage with the club as it visits their capital city. Fans will have the opportunity to have their picture taken with the coveted Premier League trophy and the club legends during various events including fan parties and in-store activity.
Exact times and venues will be announced in due course at manutd.com/trophy tour.
Irish full-back Irwin made nearly 700 appearances for the Reds in his 12 years at the club between 1990 and 2002, and was part of the famous Treble-winning side of 1999. Scottish centre-back McQueen played for United from 1978-1985 and lifted the FA Cup with the Reds in 1983. Both are now regular pundits on MUTV.
After successful previous tours of Latin America, parts of Asia and not forgetting Manchester, the DHL Champ19ns Trophy Tour will be delivered to 27 destinations around the world this year. The trophy will travel almost 48,000 miles, giving fans across the globe the opportunity to celebrate the club’s prestigious 19 league titles.
