Manchester United Radio listeners may be disappointed to hear that the station will no longer air on matchdays. But fans can get all the build-up, live action and analysis with the Reds' new commentary partner, Key 103.
A big thank you must go to Matt Proctor, host and creator of the home matchday show, who is now enjoying his well-earned retirement.
The club's exciting new deal with Key 103 ensures that full live commentary on every match (home and away) will be available on local airwaves at 103 FM, and also streamed live to millions of fans worldwide via ManUtd.com.
Ex-United player Mickey Thomas leads Key's team, providing expert analysis on each game.
Gary Stein, Key 103's programme director, said: "Key 103 is proud to be Manchester's local radio station. We are delighted to add Manchester United to our line-up after working with Manchester City for the past five years.
"Working with both clubs gives us balance and the opportunity to connect with football fans from both sides of fence, making our weekend line-up unmissable.”
David Gill, United's chief executive, said: "We’re delighted to be teaming up with Key 103. We're looking forward to working with Key to bring supporters unrivalled radio coverage of the club as we begin the campaign to defend our English and European crowns."
Key 103 will provide build-up, commentary and analysis for weekend games, while all live commentary during the week will be broadcast on sister station Magic 1152. Fans
