Photo exhibition recalls '68 success

Following United's third European Cup success, fans are being encouraged to remember the first triumph by visiting a free exhibition at Old Trafford.

For seven days from Thursday 29 May, fans can walk into the Salford Suite in the stadium's North Stand to view a stunning collection of photographs from the 1968 final. A landmark event starring the likes of Sir Matt Busby, Bobby Charlton and George Best, the match against Benfica at Wembley Stadium ended 4-1 (after extra time).

Pose with the trophies

As well as reliving the Reds’ first taste of European glory, you can also create a memorable photo of your own if you drop into the Old Trafford Museum, also in the North Stand.

Fans can pose with the Champions League and Barclays Premier League trophies for a fee of just £14.99*. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get close to two of the game’s most prestigious pieces of silverware.

* Subject to trophies' presence at Old Trafford. Call 0870 442 1994 to confirm.
