Fans attending this Saturday’s clash with Blackburn Rovers could win an amazing prize in the ‘shirt off their back’ draw courtesy of proud matchday sponsors Seoul Metropolitan Government and MU Foundation.
One lucky fan, drawn at random, will win an amazing trip for two to Seoul, while another will win a signed shirt of the player of their choice! There are also match tickets to be won for forthcoming United games. Seoul Government officials will join United legend Sir Bobby Charlton and chief executive David Gill on the pitch at half-time to conduct the draw.
The prize draw is just one of the activities being planned by Seoul Metropolitan Government to celebrate Discover Seoul Day, this Saturday 21 February.
"We’re ready to bring Seoul closer to United fans worldwide," says Se-Hoon Oh, mayor of Seoul. "I am sure the fans will be able to discover the beauty and excitement of our city through the various events on Discover Seoul Day."
Whoever wins the trip to Seoul will no doubt be able to experience the extraordinary passion that thousands of Koreans have for United, despite living more than 8,000km from Old Trafford.
Of course, Ji-sung Park has been a focal point for much of this support since joining United in 2005, while a successful tour visit to Seoul and launch of ManUtd.kr in 2007 have helped to maintain fervent levels of interest in Korea.
