United fans can take advantage of extended Museum opening hours this summer and, at the same time, get their hands on some unique items of memorabilia.
Doors will be open from 0930 until 2100 Monday to Friday until 28 August, with regular “object handling sessions” conducted from 20 July.
These sessions will give fans a rare opportunity to handle shirts, boots, gloves and medals worn by the likes of Peter Schmeichel, David Beckham, Roy Keane, Kaka, Andriy Shevchenko and Wayne Rooney.
Of course, all the Museum’s usual highlights, including the revolutionary An Audience With Sir Alex hologram, are on display and there are plenty of activities for the kids.
There’s also a temporary exhibition dedicated to departed winger Cristiano Ronaldo. Until the first week of August, Museum visitors can view a selection of the Portuguese’s individual awards won during his time at Old Trafford, including the Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year trophies.
