Parade plans in place

Manchester City Council have confirmed a victory parade will take place should United win the Champions League final.

If Sir Alex’s men are successful on Wednesday night, the squad will travel via open-top bus from Albert Square to Trafford Town Hall on Thursday afternoon, 28 May. The parade is scheduled to begin at 17:00 BST and is expected to last approximately four hours.

The bus will leave Manchester Town Hall and travel via Mount Street, Peter Street, Deansgate, Chester Road roundabout, Chester Road and Talbot Road.

Supporters attending the celebrations are advised to travel by public transport, although limited free parking will be available in Old Trafford's car parks off Wharfside Way.

Fans who can’t attend can watch the parade live on MUTV from 15:45 BST on Thursday 28 May. MUTV will be free-to-air on Sky channel 406 and Virgin channel 530.

If you are not a Sky or Virgin customer, you can watch MUTV's coverage on your PC with MUTV Online, from anywhere in the world, also for free.

Please note, there will not be a parade if United lose the Champions League final.
