Wear RED to combat AIDS

Manchester United's support for Nike's campaign, (NIKE) RED, started with the away match against Arsenal on Sunday 31 January.

Nike-sponsored players from both clubs showed their support by wearing (NIKE) RED laces in their boots and (NIKE) RED track jackets. Fans at the Emirates Stadium also participated by raising ‘Lace Up. Save Lives’ cards.

The Nike and (RED) partnership invites people to ‘Lace Up. Save Lives’ by purchasing a pair of (NIKE) RED laces. One hundred percent of the profits from (NIKE) RED laces is split equally between The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and football-based community initiatives that deliver education and understanding around HIV/AIDS prevention.

(NIKE) RED laces, priced £4 per pair, are available now at Nike Store locations, key retailers including the Megastore at Old Trafford and online at
