The geographical distance between Manchester and Seoul is over 8,000 kilometres, but the gulf between the two very distinct and different cultures has always been greater.
The signing of Ji-sung Park in 2005 has closed this gap significantly, however, and now the opportunity to discover Seoul has been brought to Old Trafford, courtesy of Seoul Metropolitan Government, proud destination partner of Manchester United.
To celebrate this partnership, fans who attend the United v Fulham fixture at Old Trafford on 14 March will have the chance to win a free ticket to the soul of Asia. “We’re ready to bring Seoul closer to the fans of Manchester United worldwide, and I am sure that they will be able to discover the beauty and excitement of Seoul through the various events in Discover Seoul Day at Old Trafford.” says Mayor Se-Hoon Oh.
In addition to the great prize offered on the day, ManUtd.com visitors have the chance to win one of five pairs of tickets to see United face old rivals Liverpool on 21 March by entering our online competition at manutd.com/seoul.
