The Reds were given an alternative warm-up session by a familiar face at Carrington recently all in aid of Sport Relief.
Following the memorable Comic Relief sketch with the England team last year - which included Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick - Gavin and Stacey star James Corden popped to United's training ground to take part in a special sketch for this year's Sport Relief.
Wayne Rooney and co. were put through their paces during an aerobics class with the TV show's Smithy in the Carrington gym which had the players in fits of laughter. To see the full sketch of Smithy inspiring more sporting greats, including United's Ryan Giggs, tune in to the Sport Relief night of TV on Friday 19 March from 19:00 GMT on BBC One.
All the money raised by the campaign, which takes place from Friday 19 March to Sunday 21 March, will help transform the lives of those less fortunate across the UK and the world’s poorest countries.
