On each of the 19 days leading up to Christmas Day, there will be a range of special activities taking place at Old Trafford for visitors on stadium tours and visiting the museum. Among extra features on each day will be the chance for visitors to handle exclusive museum items such as boots, shirts and other memorabilia. On other days you’ll be able to decorate your own United-themed Christmas card or create your own festive cookie. Youngsters can visit Father Christmas. Plus there will be opportunities to take part in competitions to win goodies, or in a quiz with a money-can’t-buy prize of a matchday spent with Alan Keegan, United’s stadium announcer.
Junior visitors to the museum will also be given the opportunity to win a day watching the team at the Carrington training ground. This unique prize will also include a full junior training kit, which has been donated by the team’s training kit sponsor, DHL, so the lucky will winner will really look part of the team!
A visit to the museum brings alive the Reds’ incredible past, and a tour of the most famous club stadium in football brings alive the present. With one special attraction at Old Trafford for every championship won in the ‘19 days of Christmas’, there’s never been a better time to surprise your loved ones and friends with a truly unforgettable experience.
Whether you’re a United fan or not, a visit to the Museum & Tour Centre is a fantastic day out for families and could be the perfect gift for that special person in your life. Admission is priced at just £15 for adults and £10 for concessions. There are also family packages valued at £45 and £55 for groups of four and five respectively.
