Further to the note issued last Friday, the club has worked through more of the detail for the distribution of tickets in upcoming Europa League games.
Fans who have already been to one or more of the group stage Champions League away games in 2011/12 (or who were unsuccessful in ballots for those games) will retain the credits gained from those matches and will therefore have priority in the case of an away game being oversubscribed. For clarity, this recognition applies to 3,438 fans – 354 of whom attended or were unlucky in the application process for three games, 536 for two games and 2,548 for one game.
As announced on Friday, in the event that the team qualifies for the final, priority will be given to those fans with the most Europa League credits, with home and away games carrying equal weight. Champions League away credits already gained will be included in this calculation, making 11 (eleven) the maximum number of credits available (three Champions League away games, four Europa League home games and four Europa League away games).
Fans are reminded that the draw will take place on Friday 16 December. Season-ticket holders who intend to opt-out of all home Europa League games must tell the Ticket Office before 6 January 2012. Those remaining opted-in will be able to opt-out on a game-by-game basis.
