United legend Bryan Robson has delivered a positive update on his health as he battles throat cancer.
The former Reds captain and current club ambassador had an operation in Thailand and has been to visit a specialist in London as he continues his treatment.
MUTV caught up with the 54-year-old in Manchester and he was in typically bullish mood about beating the disease.
"I've had good news over the last week or so," said Robson. "I've been to see a specialist down in London and he sort of backed up all the treatment I had in Thailand, saying it's been excellent. The operation to take the tumour away was very successful."
Robson will undergo another course of treatment on his return to Thailand.
"Hopefully then I'll make a one hundred per cent recovery. It's one of those situations where you keep your fingers crossed."
