Sir Alex Ferguson, his coaching staff and the entire first-team squad will toast 12 years of the United for UNICEF charity partnership at the upcoming glittering annual gala dinner.
The event, this year hosted by TV presenter and celebrity United fan Angus Deayton, will be held at Old Trafford on Monday 12 December, starting at 6:30pm.
The prestigious black-tie event, one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the Old Trafford social calendar, will raise much-needed funds for UNICEF, the club’s official charity partner and the world’s leading children’s organisation.
This year there will be a special performance from soul sensation Emeli Sande, who will entertain guests after the Grand Auction, which offers an exclusive range of money-can’t-buy prizes, including exclusive backstage access to Soccer Aid 2012.
As well as rubbing shoulders with the Reds elite, guests can mingle with celebrities while enjoying a sumptuous four-course dinner.
United for UNICEF is the longest running collaboration between a Premier League football club and a global charity and has so far raised more than £2million, helping over 2.2 million children worldwide.
