Manchester United and Manchester United Foundation have kicked off a local trophy tour to give local fans the chance to share in the Reds’ 19th title success.
The Barclays Premier League silverware will be on display at a variety of community events over the next week and will be accompanied by various Manchester United legends and the club’s popular mascot Fred The Red. Some of the sessions are private, invitation-only for the many local people working with or benefiting from MU Foundation charity projects but others are open for supporters to attend as follows:
Friday 2 Sep, 5–6.30pm: Denis Irwin at Kickz Salford, Craven Drive, Ordsall, M5 3DX
Sat 3 Sep, 12-2pm: Paddy Crerand, Mickey Thomas and Fred The Red at The Cliff Training Ground, Lower Broughton Road, Salford, M7 2HU
Saturday 3 Sep, 3-4pm: Paddy Crerand, Mickey Thomas and Fred The Red at High Peak Supporters Club at The White Horse, Buxton Road, Whaley Bridge, SK23 7DQ
Saturday 3 Sep, 5-6pm: Paddy Crerand, Mickey Thomas and Fred The Red at High Peak Supporters Club at The Navigation, Stockport Road, Marple, SK6 6BD
Mon 5 Sep, 7.30-9pm: Denis Irwin and Fred The Red at The Cliff Training Ground, Lower Broughton Road, Salford, M7 2HU
