The club’s charitable arm, the Manchester United Foundation, works in some of the most disadvantaged areas across Greater Manchester using football to educate, motivate and inspire young people. The charity delivers football coaching, skills training, personal development and life-changing experiences, giving young people chances to change their lives for the better. By using their passion for Manchester United, young people are encouraged to develop as players and, more importantly, as youngsters.
A number of activities are taking place around the Aston Villa game to help promote both the Foundation and Level Playing Field (the national organisation for disabled sports supporters), inclyding a half-time penalty shoot-out and an Under 14s four-on-four game.
Supporters who wish to help the Foundation continue to make a difference in the local community can use the "Text To Donate" service. Simply text "BELIEVE" to 70777 to make an automatic £3 donation.
