Manchester United’s official airline partner, Turkish Airlines, has teamed with renowned artist Craig Redman to bring a series of unique portraits to Old Trafford.
The colourful and abstract images of Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez, Rio Ferdinand, Nani and Ryan Giggs have been created by the artist as part of Turkish Airlines’ 'Passenger Portraits' campaign. New York-based Redman has painted many famous faces in his trademark colourful style, including Kanye West and Woody Allen.
The portraits will be on display at airports around the world, as well as throughout Old Trafford at United’s next home game, against Aston Villa on Sunday 15 April. Giant versions of the iconic images have been installed in the windows of Old Trafford’s East Stand entrance and will be on display until Thursday 19 April.

Fans will be able to collect souvenir postcards of each of the player images before Sunday’s game, while an exhibition of Redman’s work is also being arranged by Turkish Airlines so Manchester United fans will get a unique opportunity to take a close look at his work.
Each of the players depicted in the artist’s work have coloured and signed their own portraits. The players’ signed, unique versions will be auctioned to raise money for the Manchester United Foundation.
"I really like the portrait Craig has created of me," Rio Ferdinand said. "I think the campaign is a great idea and the paintings are really eye-catching. They have definitely brightened up Old Trafford! We all had fun creating our own versions of our portraits and I hope they raise plenty of money
