The pair will also be joined by a current first-team squad member at the event, funds from which will go to the Manchester United Foundation. The Europa Suite will play host to the lunch on Tuesday 28 February at 12 midday with TV presenter and lifelong Red Eamonn Holmes acting as compere for the day. Guests will be treated to a two-course lunch before the trio take to the stage for a question and answer session, during which they will give fans a first-hand account of the highs and lows of three glorious eras in the club’s history.
“Old Trafford is a place where I made lifelong friends and some very special memories," said Law. "I’m looking forward to sharing my recollections and answering the fans’ questions although I hope they don’t give me too much of a grilling!”
Schmeichel is also looking forward to an Old Trafford return. “I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the club and it’s great to be able to come back to help raise funds for the Foundation which does so much good work for underprivileged young people in the UK,” added the Dane.
Tickets for the lunch have now sold out but people still interested in attending can register their details in case there are any cancellations. To join the waiting list, contact James Lester on +44 161 868 8444 or via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
