The Bank Holiday fixture will kick-off at 2pm with proceeds going to the Rangers Charity Foundation and UNICEF.
Former skipper Bryan Robson will manage the side with the likes of Edwin van der Sar, Denis Irwin, David May, Quinton Fortune, Jesper Blomqvist and Dwight Yorke set to feature.
Robson told a press conference: "We are all really looking forward to this game and to play against so many big names from Rangers’ history. It has been a while since I last played at Ibrox but you are always guaranteed a great atmosphere.
"I have played with the United lads in a few charitable games and it’s a pleasure to be able to lend our support to the Rangers Charity Foundation and also UNICEF, a charity which is also very close to the hearts of Manchester United and its fans.”
