The Russian airline will gather aerial film and photography content of fans and the stadium over the course of the partnership with the Reds for its ‘Old Trafford from Above Collection’. This is part of the airline’s ‘Top Flight Performance’ marketing campaign which will see Aeroflot create unique content and stage a range of fan experiences at Old Trafford and around the world. As the match sponsor for the Chelsea game in August, Aeroflot released their first selection of images, while a number of other aerial photos and a timelapse film, shown above, were captured in the build-up to United’s recent victory over Arsenal. They feature a giant Aeroflot logo on one of the club car parks behind the Stretford End which takes up an area of over 2,600 square meters.
Aeroflot, Russia’s leading airline, became United’s official carrier in July 2013. As part of the partnership, Aeroflot will provide strategic advice to the club on travel arrangements for the team and officials and will also provide charter services whenever suitable on its newest long-haul Airbus and Boeing airplanes featuring a state-of-the-art business class experience.
