Ryan Giggs made a special return to his old school in Salford on Tuesday for the official opening of the school's new building.
The 39-year-old was a pupil at Moorside High and was guest of honour at an event to mark the opening of the school's new facility which features, among other things, a fitness suite, dance studio and state-of-art sports equipment.
Ryan was delighted to make a return to his roots and catch up with some familiar faces, including his old PE teacher Mr Mason.
"It's a fantastic new building," Ryan told ManUtd.com. "I'd love to have had something like this when I was at school. It's great to come back - I've got so many brilliant memories here and it's nice to see some old faces."
As for his favourite subject at school, Ryan added: "I always enjoyed Geography, but PE, of course, was my favourite. Sports Day was always the best day of the year for me!"
